The Stolpersteine – Stones of the Vanished project depends on the donors and sponsors. Your donations enable us to lay the stones without requiring that the relatives of the victims pay for them. Our team is unpaid, most of the collected funds is used directly to pay the stones‘ production costs, the rest goes to administrative expenses (web, fees to authorities, company assisting with the laying). The production cost of one Stolperstein – made by the team of German artist Gunter Demnig – is EUR 120.

We encourage all the potential donors, sponsors and contributors to contact us by e-mail. Our association receives donations from both individuals and legal entities on the basis of a donation agreement. Such donations are income tax deductible and they are used solely to finance the activities of our non-profit association. In the donation agreement – to be downloaded here – we will agree on the appropriate way of publicizing the identity of the donor, should he/she so wish.
